Job Description
Eaton is looking for an PS Application Engineer at our Porto Feliz – SP plant to join our team. She/He will be responsible for: This position has as primary function to develop, communicate and execute Power Systems Product line early-stage pipeline and product application tactical activities in Brazil focus on Electrical Utilities (underground and outdoor) domestic market. This position holds the responsibilities to support new sales, demand generation translated into new pipeline, early-stage product quotations, support to AVL’s (Approval vendor list process) and influence the market towards to Eaton key product/services value proposition by leading and participating in tradeshows, webinars, and other events as well. Job Responsibilities: Visits end customers and engineering companies aiming to stablish proper relationship, present Eaton Power System offers and translate into leads and early-stage pipeline (Always respecting Eaton values and working as Ethical bases); Establishing new and maintaining existing, long-term relationships with customers. Reports monthly early-stage pipeline, leads early quotations, AVL plan execution and relevant VOC (voice of customer) It is a native sales enabler, supports new sales by providing the proper technical support and solution to be differentiated from the market and allow Eaton to grow organic by gaining market share on target segments. Responsible for the first layer of technical support to Power Systems customers Supports NPI (new product introduction) and NPD (new product development) plans aiming to full fill product, service and offering local gaps focus on having a comprehensive Roadmap with proper vision of the future connected with company plans Tracks and analyze local competition environment to support overall next step action plans aiming to position the company as number 1 player on the focus markets. Supports sales teams including product approvals, presentation, webinars, tradeshows, marcom, etc. Develop and deliver technical trainings for Customers and key stakeholders Identify, plan, and execute growth initiative plans Collateral development support for product lines including Customer Success stories Provide timely technical response to the customers and internal departments When we embrace different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds, each of us becomes unique. An official supporting document is mandatory for hiring. #LI-HP1 Qualifications Experience required for the position: Electrical Engineering Degree Technical and commercial knowledge in Power Systems Utilities market Basic financial understanding of profit margins, markup, etc Strong negotiation skills Strong verbal articulation, presentation, and written communication skills Technical knowledge in Powe System solutions (overhead and underground) Experience in business development and value-based selling Good personal relationship (to deal with customers and peers); High degree of proficiency with MS Office products (Word, PowerPoint & Excel) Digital Mindset orientated Fluent English Spanish intermediary level Availability to travel domestic and international What you will get from us Eaton’s mission is to improve the quality of life and the environment through the use of power management technologies and services.
