Job summary
The TME (Training Matter Expert) Team is under Selling Partner Support and functions as a partner with the WW-SPS Training Delivery Department in providing support, coaching and accompaniment to WW-SPS New Hire Learners during their Live Practice and Ramp-up phase via the Andon Cord support mechanism.

The TME Manager will be responsible for the execution of the TME Team strategies with TME Supervisors and acts as a liaison with the TME Program Manager, Learning Programs, Regional Batch and Ramp-Up Leaders, and any other stakeholder included in the support and training of New Hire Learners. It interprets and drives metric performance, diagnoses underlying issues, and defines solutions to solve problems or improve performance; owns effective implementation of solutions.

The candidate will support the development of internal and external communication across teams with peer managers on areas such as strategic planning for the function (e.g., site-level OP1, three-year plans, roadmap, etc.) across business teams locally and globally.

He/She/They will set goals for team individuals to achieve team’s -or function’s- goals. Provide inputs into resource planning and partners with Capacity and Workforce teams in order to determine regional team headcounts.

Key job responsibilities
  • Support the planning, scheduling, and coordination of all required Associate training corresponding to the region.
  • Manage, coach, assess and develop the TME Supervisors and TMEs, and will also coordinate their work
  • Ensures TME onboarding and certifications along with direct leaders to ensure readiness and effective support.
  • Provide reports and statistics on Specialty- Site- and OU-specific TME performance against goals.
  • Drive Andon Cord reduction by building mechanisms to improve independency in the New Learner while also driving out defects from processes, training curricula, service delivery or Associate skills
  • Partner with RLPM to identify appropriate training curricula for strategic training initiatives, ensuring that training is appropriate to the training audience and designed to fulfill requirements with the optimal delivery methodology
  • Reports to the Regional Training Manager and teams to drive local ramp-up strategy, infrastructure, best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure complete, accurate and timely data collection and communication by TMEs
  • Administer the TME Support resources of the site.
  • Deploy, project manager and program manage instructional development activities to support Associate performance levels ongoing.
  • Partner with Site Leadership in interim and final evaluation of learner outcomes and performance to determine next steps
  • Lead by example, modeling Amazon’s leadership principles
  • International Travel required – up to 25%
