Eaton’s Electrical Sector is currently seeking a PSEC Facilities Coordinator to join our team. This position is based at our Houston, TX location. Position Overview: This position will perform a wide range of skills which include taking care of all shipping and receiving needs, unloading/loading trucks, operating a forklift and crane lift, work closely with management to support experience center initiative including product setup and relocation, equipment wiring, modifications, repairs and preventative maintenance including supporting contractors (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) while they are on-site for the facility as a whole. In this function you will: Handle all shipping and receiving responsibilities; Pack and ship equipment and packages in the timely manner, including but not limited to the following: loading trucks with forklift, verifying correct material and quantity, processing shipping paperwork. Organizing incoming equipment, material and packages using forklift and scissor lift. Responsible for building maintenance including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, sprinkler system, pest control etc. Install and wire new experience center equipment Troubleshoot experience center equipment and make or coordinate necessary repairs. Schedule preventative maintenance. Requisitions parts, materials, labor and support to complete job tasks. Lead and manage special project as required. Perform assigned function from oral and/or written instructions, drawings, or other manufacturing. Follow established procedures/work instructions for assigned function and handle materials in accordance with established procedures Maintain expected progress of jobs in area of assignment and communicate problem areas or parts shortages Observe good housekeeping and safety procedures and keep equipment, tools and work area clean and orderly Exhibit teamwork in all you do, maintaining a positive and team-based attitude. Support peers in time of high demand by working hours assigned and overtime as required. Perform other facility functions as assigned. Why work at Eaton? Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required from an accredited educational institution. 5 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment (inventory, receiving, production, contractor support, maintenance. Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates currently located within a 50 mile radius of Houston, TX will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future Preferred qualifications: Experience in electrical equipment manufacturing and assembly; able to read electrical diagrams Experience using various tools, including: Manual/electric/pneumatic tools, drill press, press brake, fork truck, scissor lift, template/fixtures, hand carts, measuring and testing equipment, storage/packaging materials and prescribed safety equipment. Knowledge of facility operations including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, security, construction, etc. Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and typing ability Position Criteria: Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills Strong interpersonal skills.
