The Field Application manager (FAE) Manager is in the PSG Sales Organization and will be responsible for leading a team of FAEs as they assist customers with the design and implementation of their product requirements, utilizing our FPGAs and Intellectual Property.
This role will include understanding the market dynamics and fielding a team to achieve PSG business objectives.
By understanding customer system requirements, and providing expertise in the use of our products, we enable them to bring competitive products to market in a timeframe that maximizes their success.

The FAE Manager will drive results through leadership skills, technical acumen, championing and supporting Intel's Culture, driving continuous improvement, with an eye on reaching optimum performance on an individual and team basis.
This includes raising the bar for individuals and the team by instilling value-selling vision, strong technical FPGA background, and FPGA market knowledge.
The role will include, but not limited to, the following:
- Contribute, and execute to region, account, and opportunity plans as part of the Strategic Sales Leadership Team
- Hiring and developing top FAE candidates and the broader FAE team
- Develop front line FAEs and meet retention and diversity goals for your Geo.
- Meeting retention and diversity goals for your region
- Align with the key influencers, both at Intel, and the customer's technical staff to understand and satisfy key customer needs
- Managing the regional opportunity pipeline to meet DWin and revenue goals
- Ensure that Intel's roadmap is aligned with our customers' long-term requirements by being an internal advocate for their product and support needs
A successful candidate must demonstrate:
- Teamwork, and the ability to work effectively in informal, and formal, teams with individuals from diverse communities and cultures
- Have strong presentation, and communication, skills to present the capabilities of Intel's product portfolio
- Be willing to present the value of Intel's solutions to customer design groups, and to key individuals in one-on-one discussions.
- Willing to travel 2 to 3 times per year
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or related
- 10 years of industry experience (technical sales leadership/management)
