Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, engaging instruction for AP Literature and Composition to high school students.

Teach 5-7 class sessions weekly, with a focus on critical analysis of literature and the development of collegiate-level academic writing.

Design and implement curriculum that covers the required course content and exam preparation strategies.

Provide constructive feedback on student essays and analytical writing assignments.

Foster a stimulating and supportive classroom environment that encourages intellectual curiosity.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience teaching AP Literature and Composition.

Deep familiarity with the AP Literature curriculum, scoring guidelines, and exam format.

Demonstrated expertise in teaching academic writing, including rhetorical analysis, synthesis, and argument essays.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Literature, English, Education, or a closely related field.

Native or near-native English proficiency.

A passion for teaching and the ability to motivate high-achieving students.
