Job Description
The Bilingual K-12 school is located in Chaoyang District, Beijing, covering an area of 22 acres, with a total area of 4,800 square meters of teaching buildings and gymnasiums.
The Bilingual K-12 school is a school with 50% Chinese and 50% English. It enrolls students from toddlers to 7th grade (2-13 years old). Toddler classes focus on language acquisition and the development of social skills. Kindergarten is an immersive Montessori teaching model for 3-6 years old, half a day in Chinese and half a day in English. The teaching mode of elementary school is that students use 50% of their time to learn Chinese, mathematics, art, sports and music in China's national standard curriculum. The other 50% of the time students focus on English language and literature, sociology, science, and performing arts that meet the core national standards of the United States.
Administration position Available for Aug of 2021:PYP coordinator, MYP coordinator, IBDP coordinator
Remuneration Package:
1. Monthly salary before tax: ¥27,000 - 45,000
2. 6 months summer holiday, 2 weeks Christmas and 2 weeks Spring Festival: Full pay
3. Two-year employment contract bonus (4% of the total amount of full contract salary)
4. Free shared apartment or Housing allowance of ¥7,000
5. Annual round trip flights (Beijing - home country)
6. International insurance
7. Breakfast and lunch: free
8. Children's tuition discount
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversees and participates in the designing, creating, and assessing of innovative activities and enhancing our existing curriculum
• Creates and maintains a safe, supportive and nurturing environment for children
• Contributes to the overall success of the school, including participates in at least one after school activity and other marketing events
• Oversees and maintains the observation, assessment and recording of the students’ growth and development throughout the entire school year
• Assists with non-teaching duties
• Attends staff operational and professional development meetings
• Collaborates with the Director and other staff members on developing and maintaining the overall success of the school
• Assists with the evaluation of classroom teaching team’s overall performance
SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS
1. Education, Training and Experience
• Degree in Education or related field
• At least 5 years of administrative experience
• Native English speaker
2. Job Skills and Abilities
• Strong knowledge and awareness of age-appropriate programming and developmental needs of children
• Excellent teaching skills
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience working with a variety of cultures and family dynamics
• Responsible, reliable, well-organized, flexible, team player
