Micron’s Taiwan sites include sales and technical support in Taipei along with state-of-the-art fabrication facilities in Taichung and Taoyuan that together comprise the company’s DRAM Center of Perfection. The Center’s goal is to achieve the most efficient and effective technology transfer and manufacturing ramp by combining front- and back-end manufacturing, product engineering and technology development roles.
Job Description
As a Program Manager in PDE at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for working with leadership teams and program peers to manage key projects and business processes which align to strategic department and corporate goals.
You will be responsible for managing programs/processes to achieve specific business goals and objectives. You will develop and track metrics to predict results and outcomes critical to success of the program. Additional responsibilities will include analysis of program progress.
Responsibilities and Tasks
Manage Program Teams and Stakeholders
- Identify Stakeholders and manage expectations
- Collect and document stakeholder requirements
- Communicate program expectations to team members and stakeholders
- Maintain program support through interaction with senior leaders
Program Governance
- Develop program scope definition and approval
- Set metrics and targets
- Manage program definition and approval
- Manage program change management
Initiate and Plan Programs
- Define scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with sponsors and stakeholders
- Define alignment of programs to department strategic objectives
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve program goals
- Plan and schedule program timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
Execute, Monitor, Control and Close Programs
- Identify and manage program dependencies
- Track program milestones and deliverables
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
- Control program scope
Develop Metrics and Benchmark
- Develop appropriate metrics and set goals.
- Communicate closely with WW stakeholders to ensure each organization and group understand current status and gaps for those metrics, and forecast.
Education
Required
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
- Engineering
- Project Management
- Business Administration/Management
Desired
Certificate
- Project Management Professional (PMP Certification)
Experience
Required
3 years experience in any of the following:
- Engineering
- Project Management
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and present to small and large groups.
- Strong project management skills.
- Decision making skills using data analysis techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate well with peers and managers.
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
- Experience with global networking.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. If not certified, achieve certification within 12 -18 months of hire date.
