Core Job Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership with packaging technology in ABBOTT Jiaxing plant, in the areas of :
  • Can technology
  • Flexible laminates
  • Folding Cartons
• Act as a liaison on technical issues between operations and packaging stakehold (purchase, package design)
• Communicate with stakehold on the packaging concept/packaging drawings and get stakehold approval;
• Provide  the plant equipment capability for new package material, Prepare the change control for new package material and coordinate FMEA to get approval.
• Validate samples and check its spec to meet the design requirement; Coordinate with QA team to develop the package material acceptance criteria
• Lead the investigate of packaging issues with internal teams and packaging vendors with the knowledge of materials, fabrication process
• Support the review and analysis of related packaging material design and development, Collaborate with Engineering and Product Development on new package testing
• Assist in the identification and qualification of external source companies and suppliers. Support QA to audit package supplies

Minimum Experience / Skill Required :

• Industry experiences: Work Experiences(fluids preparation, solids making, Packaging) in FMCG , chemical or pharmaceutical industries;
• Position experiences:
  • At least 5-year working experiences in operation/management of factory packaging
  • Familiarity and understanding of industry testing practices related to packaging
  • Familiarized with Can product packaging
• Language Skills： capable of using English  for the need of executing duties(e.g Understanding equipment manuals in English, able to converse in simple English with overseas vendor engineers for equipment FAT or SAT)
• Computer Skills: Familiar with MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint
• Mobility:  Work location in Jia Xin, Zhe Jiang Province
• Certificate Required: certified engineer is plus
• Other Special requirement: Experiences with 5S,lean manufacturing(maintenance related part) and GMP are plus.
