How will you make an impact
Provide technical support, guidance, and leadership to the global PSG packaging network in relation to packaging materials. The role will be responsible for the improvement and standardization of materials for the solid dose, liquid, and sterile packaging lines at sites in the US and the EU packaging The role will contribute to company objectives to grow and improve commercial packaging across the PSG network.

What you will do

• Investigation of packaging materials and their utilization on network packaging lines
• Leadership of improvements in network packaging materials
• Support for the standardization of global packaging materials
• Support of network packaging quality investigations regarding materials
• Collaboration with purchasing and network sites regarding packaging material changes
• A moderate amount of travel up to 25-30% is necessary to support this role.

• Bachelor's Degree - preferred

• 3-5 years as a Packaging Engineer 
• Pharma/Food and Beverage/Consumer Products - with focus on Materials is preferred

• Ability to collaborate effectively with all functions of the business
• Encourages/challenges others and self for continuous improvement during situations that have high impact to the business, quickly escalate them by bringing solutions and consulting with Supervisor
• Be able to efficiently handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Develop skills to perform other duties as assigned
