Job Description

Generate in process control plan with designers and process engineers, such as select the critical parameters or assembly tolerance for process control, determine sample size sampling frequency and test methods

Qualifications

 Define engineering and manufacturing specifications with cross functional teams to create
OQC/IQC documentations, drawings, gauges and methods to qualify BOMs for packaging
processes
 Liaise between product engineers, manufacturing personnel and suppliers to align specifications and qualify materials for the production floor
 Working with sourcing team to visit vendor facilities and audit their manufacturing
environment to support supplier selection and qualification
 Maintain a supplier database and include performance evaluations and quality control audits in the database for in-house access by company and manufacturing management personnel.
 Assist with resolving quality issues and provide technical guidance and advice to suppliers
Required qualifications:
 BS/MS degree in EE, ME, Chemistry, Material Science, or related field
 5-10 years experience of semiconductor package engineering or an equivalent combination of relevant technical training and experience.
 Experience with all aspects of supplier quality management: quality concepts/tools/methods (e.g. FMEA, DOE, OCAP, OD, IQC/OQC/IPQC, MSA, GRR, 8D, etc.), quality issue resolution and quality monitoring measures.
 Certified auditor for ISO13485 or 9001 preferred
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills to serve as liaisons between companies and suppliers and prepare quality assurance reports
 Fluent in English and Mandarin

Location: This position will be based in Taoyuan City, Taiwan. Employee will need to travel
frequently to New Taipei and Hsinchu areas also.
