Packaging Planning International Intern (Fall 2020)

Job Description

Work withPackaging Planning and Economics team within BMW. Support of BMW packagingplanners with daily activities for existing products in existing productionareas, as well as assistance with analysis of packaging concepts/options forfuture models. Support of 3D-Print Lab / Additive Manufacturing in creation andprocessing of models. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Support in analysis of existing packaging (steel and non-steel) for optimizations to reduceenvironmental impact, logistics costs, or for communizing across multipleproduct lines
  • General support for packaging planners on modifications,identification projects and modification of existing packaging
  • Moderation ofpackaging planning meetings, including team meetings and packaging reviews fornew/modified containers



 

 

  • Successfully completed an internship/working student assignment within the BMW group (3 month period minimum)
  • Be currently enrolled in a University study program outside of the US
  • Completed intermediate diploma/pre-degree
  • Must provide the following paperwork in English:
             Cover letter
             Curriculum Vitae
             Last University performance record
             Relevant references and certificates
