GENERAL MISSION:

Based on Auchan Marketing and Ethic Rules, the coordinator ensures the efficient and timely creation and/or modification of given packaging range.

He takes care of the visual coherence of his packaging. By his actions, the Packaging Coordinator greatly contributes to the attractiveness of Auchan's offer and hence the customers' loyalty.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

§ He pilots services providers and/or suppliers to create or modify all the artworks and instruction manuals on given products ranges in line with graphic guidelines developed in France.

§ He guarantees the coherency and the efficiency of the artworks and instruction manuals.

§ If necessary, he creates and/or modifies artworks and instruction manuals according to project flow.

§ He runs the translation officies.

§ Based on the requirements given by the quality department, he makes sure their artworks and instruction manual are in line with legal demands. .

§ He works in projects mode with many people involved. He guarantees the planning regarding the creation and modifications of the artworks and instruction manuals. He strictly follows the validation process.

§ Together with the supplier, he supports France's designer in the tuning and validation of their "made in China" samples.

§ He spontaneously proposes packaging improvements.

§ He closely follows the development of private labels products and packaging together with the product manager, the quality engineer and the suppliers.

§ As an experienced person, he trains and coaches junior members of the team if any.

§ He archives all artworks and instruction manuals realized in a structured and accessible manner.

TECHNICAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

§ Education Background:

• Degree: Bachelor degree or above
• Major: Design / Packaging

§ Minimum Experience:

• Welcoming fresh graduated student major in Packaging Engineer
• 1 to 3 years experience in the field of packaging and design of mass consumption products.
• Minimum 2-3 years studying/working in a European country or European Corporation.
• Experience in an international sourcing structure is a clear plus

§ Language:

• Excellent spoken and written English
• French appreciated
• Other European language (Spanish, Italia, Russian...is a clear plus

§ Computer Skills:

• Proficient with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Efficient with Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint & Vision)

§ Compulsory Licence / Certification:
