Job Summary

Responsible to develop/design cost-effective packaging to address company objectives, with a particular focus on achieving the maximum container loading and reducing the material cost, ensuring the goods with enough protection and delivery to its destination without any damage.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• 
  Design/Develop the cost-effective packaging (factory to factory) , including the bulkpack and single pack;

• 
  Familiar with customer’s packaging specification and packaging product test procedure;

• 
  Communicate with customer on the packaging concept/packaging drawings and get customer approval;

• 
  Release packaging BOM list to IE team/ECN coordinator for BOM setup;

• 
  Validate samples and check its spec to meet the design requirement;

• 
  Validate packaging testing(compression test, random vibration test, drop test) and inspection plans to assure quality of packaging with quality insurance department;

• 
  Solve packaging issues with internal teams, customers and packaging vendors from NPI phase to mass production;

• 
  Handle multiple project

• 
  Exercises a good working knowledge of materials, fabrication processes, and sources of supply associated with specific commodities

• 
  Other duties assigned by supervisor

Education & Experience Requirements

• 
  Bachelor's degree
• Plus 2 year packaging design experience
• Good knowledge of packaging material, manufacturing process, cost level
• Software skills, CAD, ProE
• English Reading, Speaking, Writing
• Good Excel Skill and SAP preferable.
• Team worker and good communication skills
