Job Description
Seeking Communications / Marketing Interns from various countries to work with 798 International Children’s Art Festival. Having just finished the Beijing 798 ICAF festival, which attracted more than 100,000 visitors, we’re looking for interns to assist with varied tasks ready for our upcoming Summer Arts Workshop Program and future festivals in cities across China.

Responsibilities to include:
• Sourcing and communicating with international artists, illustrators, children’s book publishers, etc.
• Posting news and information about 798 ICAF on foreign media sites.
• Preparing / editing artist application materials.
• Various research tasks.
• Light translation (English – Chinese, English – other languages).
• Assisting artists on-site at 798 ICAF festivals.

All nationalities welcome to apply. We’re particularly keen to hear from people who can speak languages other than Chinese and English (for example, German, French, Spanish, etc.)

Requirements:
• Independence and good work ethic
• Good organisation skills
• Attention to detail
• Available 1-2 days per week (Monday – Friday)
• Ability to communicate effectively through email and telephone.
• Arts / Teaching background a plus (not required)
• Chinese language ability a plus (not required)
