Internship position: Operations Intern
The Operations Intern is a motivated, capable and resourceful person with a strong analytical mind. Their job is to work with the Project Team to fill in the gaps by providing support, resources, and outcomes needed to get the job done. They want hands-on learning in growing a business, increasing revenue, and handling budgets, finances, models, and timelines for a team. More than anything, they want to apply their abilities to facilitate outcomes while learning new skills and helping build up a lean, mean innovation team.

Responsibilities:
1. Handle team’s budget and financial activities;
2. Coordinate team development timelines;
3. Business modeling;
4. Growth projections;
5. Creation of business plans;
6. Conduct research on a range of project and team development-related topics;
7. Identify places to cut costs and to improve performance, policies and programs;
8. Introduce and apply new technologies to company;
9. Consult with other executives, staff and board members about operations.

Requirements and Personal skills:
1. Bachelor or higher in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or Project Management;
2. Strong strategic and analytical skills with an ability to read between the lines and understand details in order to create meaningful action
3. Strong understanding of basic financial accounting and budgeting
4. Excellent time management and organizational skills
5. Pays attention to detail and has their feet firmly planted on the ground;
6. Strong observation and research skills ;
7. Good understanding of technology and software;
8. Ability to quickly grasp and clearly communicate concept and system thinking;
9. Self-starter with a hunger for action;
10. Excellent written and spoken English and Mandarin – candidates with strong Chinese skills may be considered for formal hiring after completion of internship;
11. Experience supporting a senior manager a plus.
