Reporting the Paid Media Manager, Corporate Marketing Communications, the Paid Social Media Specialist is responsible for working across all social platforms to implement, manage, and optimize data-driven paid social campaigns. This role will work closely with internal businesses across Eaton's global organization to execute requests for paid social campaigns. This includes being responsible for day-to-day tasks for paid social accounts, including creating ad campaigns within social media platforms and business managers, building audiences, monitoring campaigns for performance (including pacing, frequency caps, and creative fatigue), compiling campaign reports, managing invoices, and supporting teams with design specifications and best practices. Your main duties: Work closely with marketing leads across Eaton to implement paid social media campaigns across multiple platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Manage and optimize campaigns, including campaign/ad set/audience structure, running A/B tests, and improving campaign performance. Ensure paid media campaigns – including content and strategy – align with social media best practices as well as Eaton’s corporate guidelines. Prepare regular campaign reports that align with campaign objectives that include a summary and analysis of campaign results along with recommended actions. Work cross-functionally with Paid Search Specialists and agency partners to ensure campaigns are aligned and achieving high-level goals. Work with the Paid Media Manager to establish key metrics and benchmarks to measure the effectiveness of each paid social media program. Work with the Paid Media Manager to track paid media expenses and vendor invoices. Work with the Paid Media Manager to develop new processes and support models to gain efficiency and scale. Work with the Corporate Social Media team to actively monitor comments and engagement on paid social posts and escalate when needed. Stay up to date with social media best practices and trends, the latest social media ad products, formats and paid opportunities, social media management, technologies, design tools, and applications. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communications or associated field 3-5 years social media marketing experience at an agency, consultancy or brand. Must have a minimum of at least 3 years paid media experience Expertise across all major social platforms, namely LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube Understanding of paid social terminology (CPM, CPC, CPE, etc.), media math, remarketing/retargeting, audiences, pixel management and UTM management Experience managing budgets for 10-20 social media campaigns simultaneously Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Experience with Datorama or PowerBI preferred but not required Certifications from social media platforms such as Twitter Flight School or Meta (Facebook) Blueprint Certification preferred but not required Knowledge of cross-channel media planning (Google Search Ads, Programmatic/DSPs, Site Direct, etc.) preferred but not required Ability to multi-task and prioritize as needed Completes work independently with general guidance on new projects Strong verbal and written communication for internal audiences Ability and openness to learn new technology Ability to set forecasted goals and to develop strategy that achieves those goals Analytical thinker with the ability to synthesize large amounts of data into concise and actionable storylines Strong time management and organizational skills Provides innovative solutions that are consistent with organization objectives A service mentality, reflected in the interaction this role plays in engaging and working with business and functional leaders as “internal clients” Compelling interpersonal skills; professional maturity to listen, learn, demonstrate cultural sensitivity, and to build coalitions and consensus corresponding to the vision and branding goals of the organization Then we want to hear about you!
