Paint Line Associate – Afternoon Shift

Job Description
Eaton’s Electrical Sector is currently seeking a Paint Line Associate – Afternoon Shift to join our team. This position is based at our Milton, ON facility. Shift premium is offered for the Afternoon shift. This position is responsible for operating the production site’s paint line, which includes loading and unloading of parts, as well as operating, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of the Powder Coat painting system. Position Overview: Adhere to detailed specifications, work instructions, manufacturing information and written or verbal instructions from supervision. Run and operate Dynamic Machine Management software (DMM). Run and operate drawing search software (Enovia, Vault etc.) to view and print drawings for fabrication purpose. Perform titration test & trouble shoot chemical concentricity (mix) and pH level variations. Monitor & troubleshoot the automated guns and spray systems to ensure effective coverage to a variety of sized and shaped products. Replace Wash System Chemical as required. Maintain the integrity of the Pre-Treat system and ensure the waste solution does not exceed environmental limitations. Maintain Powder in proper containers and storage requirements. Prepare requisition for buyer to procure required powder paint supply. Keep supervisor informed on powder paint and related supply inventory. Load and Unload product from the paint line and ensure conveyor to part continuity. Manually paint all non-standard colours. Inspect final product for cosmetic, coverage, cure, adhesion and thickness. Perform tasks specific to the Wastewater Treatment including monitoring operation, system start-up/shut-down. Prioritize jobs per required date and/or based on supervisor direction. Regularly maintain equipment as per Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) sheet (Powder Booths/Pre Wash/Waste Water Treatment/or General Systems). Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: High School Diploma required. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds to shoulder height. Must have prior manufacturing experience. Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship. No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within an 80 km radius of Milton, ON will be considered. Preferred Qualifications Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and safety procedures of a manufacturing facility. Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics is an asset. Ability to perform standard work procedures and processes. Demonstrated experience of utilizing mechanical tools and measuring equipment required for assembly. Good problem solving, mathematical skills and troubleshooting ability.
