Come join our paint shop engineers, for a 13 month placement, in our state of the art paint shop. Our team ensure that the manufacturing process, products, programmes, tooling and parameters are developed defined and adhered too. They continuously monitor the processes and products to ensure compliance and specifications are achieved specifically in the pre-treatment, phosphating and e-coat production process. They are also responsible for the management of the water processing and effluent plants to ensure supply quality and compliance of waste water outflows to Thames Water.

What awaits you?
• Lead our paint batching analysis (£500K saving opportunity).
• Lead the digitalisation of our Paint Mix process data.
• Prepare monthly reporting by compiling and calculated usage and emissions.
• Maintain water usage data to ensure optimum efficiency of Reverse Osmosis.
• Support the overall department with taking-on the learning opportunities of hands on activities when required.
• Undertaking a Bachelor’s degree in the field of Engineering, progressing towards a minimum 2:1 or completed a Bachelors Engineering Degree and is intending to start a Master’s Degree upon completion of their internship.
• The ability to compile and analyse data and determine results.
• Proactive with a ‘hands on’ approach and a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
• Confidence & ability to put ideas forwards.
• Good communication utilising a range of different media.
