HIRING NOW! Eaton Corporation Marina Power & Light in Williamsburg, VA has an opening for a FIRST SHIFT Production Wet & Powder Coat Painter. Hourly rate from $18 - $21 (based on experience). Prepare material for painting by mixing coatings in proper quantities and viscosities; unpack, clean, move, and adjust products as necessary using routing machines. Thoroughly clean all painting equipment as required to maintain proper working conditions. Ensure quality expectations are met by reviewing order documents, painted products and verifying quality checklist are complete. Be expected to comply with all safety requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment, operation of equipment/booth/filters and verifying all safety actions prior, during and post painting are complete. Be required to maintain all 5S standards within the work-area cleaning, organizing, and sustaining applicable Lean initiatives Perform flexible production assignments as required by the operation as volumes shift. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Must have a High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the facility will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Preferred Qualifications: Minimum 1-year experience in an industrial manufacturing environment using Industrial wet / powder paint system Previous working knowledge of industrial airless and/or air pressure painting Position Criteria: Ability to obtain and maintain medical clearance for respirator use required for the painting operation While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, squat, reach to or below shoulder level, lift, carry, push, pull, and use hands to handle and feel. The employee is frequently required to climb and reach above shoulder level. The employee is regularly required to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
