What you will do
Let’s do this. In this vital role you will support the International Legal Group of lawyers in a broad range of matters and will cooperate with other support functions in the company (such as compliance, sourcing, finance, etc.).
R&D/Clinical Trials Support:
- Formatting and assisting drafting of Power of Authorizations, contracts and other documents concerning sponsored clinical trials, investigator-sponsored clinical trials and observational studies;
- Reviewing agreements and informed consent forms for patients;
- Assisting in execution and uploading to Databases.
Advice and Support on Contracts:
- Preparation, revising and negotiation of commercial and healthcare contracts (such as services, sponsorship, consultancy, non-disclosure, market research agreements, etc.)
- Working with global strategic sourcing (and other groups) under supervision of responsible lawyer
- Reviewing and updating contract templates used in the company periodically, ensuring at all times compliance with the law and with the internal procedures and uploading the same to the legal Databases.
Legal Database Management & General Support:
- Add Metadata for Intercompany Agreements and add executed documents to International Tax page.
- Upload contracts and documents to ILG SharePoint Pages, maintain the Databases, add templates, provide access and keep structure up to date.
- Support legal operations tools and projects.

What we expect of you
We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. What we seek in you as an experienced professional, are these qualifications and skills:
- 2-4 years’ experience in legal organizations either in a law firm or in-house legal department
- Professional education, experience as Law Assistant or Paralegal.
- Law degree from recognized university law faculty is not required but helpful.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry welcome but not required
- Fluent English (writing, speaking and listening) and excellent written and oral communication skills
- Well-structured team player, organized and efficient, self-motivated – interested in the legal field
- Good IT skills (Office, Power Point, Word, databasing, contract generation systems, Excel)
- Proactive, responsive with good judgment and maturity
- Able to work independently on most issues within core areas and knows when to escalate
- Unquestioned integrity and ethics in business and personal conduct.
