As a part of Siemens Healthineers Contracts Department, the Contracts Manager will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, structuring, interpreting, executing, and/or administering contractual documents with Siemens Healthineers and strategic customers located in Canada. What you will do: Review and negotiate major account and consulting agreements, special licensing, non-disclosure agreements, terms and amendments for customers located in Canada with a goal of 100% quality. Drive contract lifecycle from drafting through to completion of negotiation process and/or contract execution based on customer requests and approved quotes. Analyze both new and existing contracts with customers, nd partners to ensure content is legally sound and maximizes Company benefits. Manage, distribute and analyze RFIs, RFPs, RFQs and customer terms and conditions. These include the creation of new end user contracts as well as negotiating changes to terms and conditions based on customer requests Liaise with other functions as appropriate to resolve customer requests (example: Sales, Legal, Insurance, Delivery, Compliance) Consult with sales on the best way to solve a customer’s situation given prior contracts, specific needs, Siemens revenue recognition and utilize expertise in quoting, validating, or managing contracts. Become proficient in finance/billing paperwork and the implication on revenue to explain to Sales Reps. Maintain deep understanding of Siemens Healthineers contract templates, contract policies, legal risks and liabilities while understanding, adhering to and promoting Company ethics, policies and processes and participate in audits as needed. Complete lease classification checklists to ensure correct categorization of leases. Interpret complex legal scenarios for contracts into simple language and advise sales/consulting managers of contractual responsibilities and determine enforceability based on contract language (RFP terms, quotes, responses to customer) Provide ways to improve quality and turnaround, increasing sales’ ability to self-generate documents or other process improvements. Contribute to the review and approval of Terms and Conditions and risk assessments for the respective business. Requirements: This position requires strong written and oral communication skills with proven interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with people and maintain rapport with internal and external customers is essential. Strong organizational skills required. Must be able to multi-task, prioritize workflow, perform under sensitive deadlines. Must be able to work effectively in a team environment. Financial acumen and demonstrated ability to identify and resolve moderately complex problems and apply problem-solving skills effectively is needed. Ability to make decisions and recommendations to resolve issues is important. Demonstrated ability to take ownership of issues and collaborate/consult with peers and others outside of functional area to resolve complex issues and improve existing processes.
