Job Overview

Directly support the defense of litigation against all DTNA entities and brands. Work with DTNA counsel and retained outside counsel in the representation of DTNA in lawsuits and claims. Coordinate with various groups throughout DTNA to support that litigation.
 
Responsibilities
 

- Compile and input litigation data into the legal department's on-line case management system.

- Responsible for database management and continuous improvement of the case management system.

- Develop and produce reports tracking departmental spend, case/claim trends, TREAD reportable events, etc.

- Manage  discovery and the organization of legal documents, corporate records, and employee emails and documents.

- Manage eDiscovery process, to include employee litigation holds, coordinate with internal IT for the retrieval of employee emails and documents, and collaborate with external eDiscovery vendors.

- Provide support for outside counsel and third party vendor invoicing.

- Prepare PowerPoint presentations as necessary.
 

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in related field or graduation from an ABA approved program for legal assistants or paralegals OR an Associate's degree and 4 years relevant experience as a paralegal or legal assistant or related fields from an accredited university/college required


- eDiscovery programs required.


- Good oral and written communication skills required.

- An attached resume is required
 


Preferred Qualifications:  

- Previous experience in a large manufacturing company preferred

- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills preferred
