The department Global Litigation (IL/PL) as part of the legal department of Daimler AG steers inter alia all litigation matters for the Daimler Group worldwide. The sub-department Global Class Action & eDiscovery as part of Il/PL is in charge for class action matters for Passenger Cars, Busses and Trucks of Mercedes-Benz on a global scale. In addition the department is heading the eDiscovery Competence Center for Daimler AG as an comprehensive inhouse function in discovery matters and document review. Profund technical skills and/or OEM Experience and/or Inhouse Company Experience is beneficial.
- These challenges await you:
- Support of ongoing proceedings by tracking certain tasks (Project Management skills required)
- Project Management - establishing structures & best practices for the defense of litigation in the team
- Establishment of Cost & Budget Controlling; ensuring proper accounting obligations
- Reporting on certain matters; preparation of presentations and Meetings via Power Point, Mind Maps, Flip Charts in German / English
- Support of Engagement of Law Firms and cost Controlling in that area
- Professional qualifications:
- Education in legal (Wirtschaftsjurist (f/m/x) bzw. 1. and/or 2. Exam) or Business Administrative studies (Master or Fachhochschule)
- Professional working experience
- Experiences in Cost Controlling
- Background in Project Management
- Advanced Knowledge in IT Tools (Power Point, Excel)
- Advanced, native German, not less than advanced English, additional European languages are a benefit
- Soft skills:
- Skills in managing of external law firms and interdiscplinary teams
- Intercultural experience
