Rixos Qetaifan Island North
Opening mid 2022, Rixos Doha Qetaifan will comprise a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sq m of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park and a waterpark. The resort will boast panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Slated to make its debut right before the World Cup, Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country’s biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North’s waterpark attraction The Icon Tower, the world’s highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres in height.
Park Service Support Manager - Waterpark
This position is to ensure that the entire facility is maintained to the highest standard in terms of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene. Plan, direct and control all activities related to the department with emphasis on sustainability, optimized use of available resources and show continuous improvement whilst maintaining professional and well-organized service.

What you will be doing:
- Establish standards and procedures to ensure the daily task of the housekeeping team are productive and produce great results
- Ensure that all safety policies and procedures are enforced in the department
- Develop, communicate, and enforce department policies and procedures
- Develop and maintain quality training and coaching in a systematic and professional way to ensure consistent delivery of service standards
- Identifying developmental needs from colleagues ensuring maximum support received
- Prepare and complete all reports needed and monthly document retention
- Monitor and control inventories for operating equipment, chemicals, and machinery where applicable
- Order supplies for the housekeeping department
- Plan, schedule, organize, and oversee work to ensure proper coverage, timely completion, and satisfactory performance
- Schedule routine inspections of washrooms and public areas, coach employees on deficiencies, and provide corrective action where appropriate
- Promote housekeeping quality initiatives by conducting inspections
- Inspect the environment within the organization to ensure it meets the minimum best practice throughout the organization
- Stand-in for any member of staff that is unavailable to carry out their duties in order to prevent any unfilled gap
- Serve as “manager on duty” as required
- Listen to customers’ complaints and ensure that the complaints are addressed efficiently and effectively
- Conduct performance review with the team
- Maintain good relationships with managers of other units in the organization.
- Oversee and manage all waste management
- Oversee and manage operations of Laundry Service
- Work outdoor, in extreme temperatures, wet, humid, or windy environment caused by weather conditions
Your experience and skills include:
- Senior Secondary /High school or certification(s) from a reputable Hospitality Management school
- Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
- Relevant work experience or role in a Leisure/ Hospitality environment
- Minimum of 2-3 years of similar experience
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and training skills
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
- Well-presented and professionally always groomed
