Part Time Banquet Supervisor
Under the direction of the Banquet Manager & Assistant Banquet Manager, the Supervisor is required to supervise, co-ordinate and organize the daily routines of all Banquet Colleagues ensuring guest satisfaction.

    What you will be doing:
  • Overseeing all Banquet operations during a shift including Food & Beverage serviceOrientation, training and performance management of Banquet Colleagues
  • Liasing with clients, ensuring all function contract details are met
  • Coordinating off-site functions
  • Ensure guidelines of “Responsible Beverage Service” are followed
  • Preparation and completion of daily Banquet Event Billing
  • Conduct pre-function meetings with Colleagues for all Food & Beverage functions to brief on menu and service procedures
  • Knowledge of all menus and prices including any extra charges
  • Monitor and ensure Food & Beverage quality
  • Ensure cashiering and check control procedures are followed
  • Organize and ensure that all colleagues receive appropriate rest and meal breaks
  • Establish maintenance, repair and cleaning schedules for all Banquet equipment and facilities
  • Cash, Credit and deposit procedures and transactions are accurate ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Thorough knowledge of hotel facilities, services, events and hours of operation

Your experience and skills include:

  • Minimum 3 years of Supervisory experience
  • Post Secondary education in Hospitality and Tourism
  • Knowledge of basic Accounting Principles
  • Familiar with various styles of service including French, Military and Family
  • Thorough knowledge of Wine, Liquor and Beer
  • Clear understanding of Inventory Control
  • Proven Leadership abilities in the Hospitality Industry
  • Previous experience in a Unionized environment an asset
