We are currently seeking a Part Time Cylinder Filler/Loaderto work in our Waterville, ME location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• This position is responsible for meeting all safety standards in the filling, loading and unloading of propane cylinders per Maine Oxy procedures. Experience is preferred, but we will train the right candidate.
• Required to work 15-20 hours per week.
• Inspect cylinders prior to filling, following standard procedures as required by government, Maine Oxy, and distributor standards.
• Conducts a variety of Safety checks per procedures, such as odor tests, checking caps and valves.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Complies with company and DOT guidelines and procedures relating to loading methods, loading for safety, availability of cylinders, and weight distribution.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift (as required).
• Must comply with safety/site work rules and regulations and housekeeping standards.
• Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
