Job Overview
Entry level position in a Parts Distribution Center for Heavy Duty Truck Parts.
Responsibilities- Receives and verifies amount and stores incoming material; picks required quantity material for processing.
- Packages material to ensure protection of parts in transit.
- Picks and prepares material for shipment.
- Spots material in proper location for shipment and/or loads on trailer.
- Audits storage locations for proper quantity and resolves discrepancies.
- Frequent contact with others outside the work group.
- Generate continuous improvement ideas.
- Ability to operate power vehicles such as a forklift and order picker.
- This position is not entitled to benefits
- Limited to working no more than 8 hrs per day and no more than 24 hrs per week
- Limited to working no more than 980 hrs in a calendar year
- An attached resume is required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Have the ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs.
- Unassisted, pull/push and slide over parts up to 100 lbs.
- Stoop, Bend, and Twist as necessary to complete the task at hand.
- Reach into 48” Deep locations to pull or stock truck parts.
- Stand and/or Walk 100% of the work schedule
- With exception to break and lunch times.
- Operate Stand-up Reach Lifts
- Operate Man-Up Order Picker to height of 24 ft
- Use equipment to lift pallet unit to a height of 24 ft.
- Housekeeping as necessary
- Sweeping
- Emptying Trash
- Hourly pay $16.32
