This job is ‘semi-regular’ and on ‘as-need’ basis, salary will be based on an agreed half-day or daily rate.

 

The work hours, when required by the company, will be Friday afternoons, Saturdays and Sundays. Hours outside of these times can also be considered.

 

This role is to support the Company IT Manager and Company Director with the following tasks:

- general maintenance of IT system 

- assembly of and upgrade of computer hardware (Apple computers)

- setting up of new user accounts 

- upgrade of OS and software as needed 

- checking, and maintenance of output devices such as printers and plotters 

- maintenance of gateway profile, VOIP gateways, and other network equipment 

- maintenance of server equipment and server folder permissions 

 

 

For this role, you should have:

- Expert knowledge of Macintosh OS system, and Mac OS server

- Good knowledge of gateway hardware and interface, such as Fortigate, Zyxel

- Good knowledge of VOIP gateway hardware and setup, such as Avaya

- Good understanding of network setup in hardware and software 

- Good understanding of iOS devices setup and enrolment 

- utmost understanding and respect for confidentiality
