Job Description
(a) have a bachelor degree from a local university, or equivalent;
(b) have attained Level 3 or above in Chinese Language and English in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) or equivalent [See Note];
(c) have a minimum of five years’ full-time post-qualification working experience;
(d) have strong communication skills and good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
(e) be mature, self-motivated and capable of multitasking; and
(f) be proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Note:
'Grade C’ and ‘Grade E’ in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to ‘Level 3’ and ‘Level 2’ respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.
Duties:
(a) To assist in providing executive support including collation of returns for various major resource management exercises, liaison with Planning and Lands Branch (PLB) users and bureaux/departments, preparation of various papers and reports for Resource Allocation Exercise, draft Estimates and Special Finance Committee meeting, etc., conducting research on resource management matters and other general administrative work;
(b) To assist in handling procurement of IT equipment and services, including monitoring IT-related expenditure and liaising with Account Office on accounting matters and Supplies Service on procurement issues;
(c) To assist in vetting and processing submissions to Establishment Subcommittee, Public Works Sub-committee and Departmental Establishment Committee, staffing proposals and fees and charges proposals;
(d) To handle record management issues;
(e) To assist in providing logistic support for meetings and arranging systems installation for PLB users, arising from an upgrading project for all PLB’s desktop and VPN notebook computers; and
(f) To perform any other duties as assigned.

Terms of Appointment:
Successful candidate will be employed on non-civil service contract terms for an initial period of one year.
Fringe Benefits
The benefits in respect of rest days, statutory holidays, annual leave, maternity leave or paternity leave, sickness allowance, where appropriate, will be granted in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Ordinance and confirmed at the time of the offer of appointment.

They should submit copies of their official transcripts and certificates by mail together with their applications forms to the enquiry address stated below.
