(a)

To perform teaching duties in child education programmes, including supervision of student projects / fieldwork practicum in child education settings;

(b)

To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration;

(c)

To develop programme curriculum and teaching materials;

(d)

To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes; and

(e)

To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions.

(a)

A recognized relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification, preferably with post-graduate qualification;

(b)

At least 3 years relevant teaching and/or industrial experience, preferably in the field of occupational therapy, physiotherapy, play therapy, art therapy, baby massage, counselling, teaching Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) children, teaching children with special educational needs (SEN), school-based curriculum development, or playgroup teacher training;

(c)

Good communication skills in both English and Chinese; and

(d)

Proven records of connection with the industry or professional bodies would be an added advantage.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment in English before the interview.
