The Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi) offers 22 innovative degree programmes that are vocationally oriented and developed with significant industry input. All the programmes are accredited by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications, and most are also accredited by the relevant professional bodies. In 2019/20, twelve programmes are in the Government’s Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions / Sectors (SSSDP), which provides subsidies to students varying from $41,700 to $72,800 per year. Major Duties:
The appointee shall report to Dean and engage in delivering lectures, conducting tutorials and supervising students’ projects for the Faculty.

Requirements:
The successful candidate should have a Master’s degree, preferably a doctoral degree, in Chinese Medicinal Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Science, Phytochemistry, Pharmacognosy or related fields; and at least 4 years of teaching experience at tertiary level and/or experience in GMP, pharmaceutical manufacturing, management of pharmacy service, clinical pharmacy or related professional practice in the relevant fields. Preference will be given to those with experience in research and development, dissertation or project supervision, and/or coaching of academic writing. He/she should have good interpersonal and social skills, and high proficiency in English and preferably in Chinese, including Putonghua.

Notes:
(1) Shortlisted candidates will be required to give a teaching demonstration in English at the interview.
(2) The appointees may be required to work irregular hours and perform duties on Saturdays and Sundays as necessary.
(3) The appointee will work on Tsing Yi campus.
