Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee will be responsible for planning and teaching the above full-time undergraduate course either in the face-to-face mode or online.  English is the medium of instruction for the course.  The appointee shall mainly be responsible for the following:

• Preparing teaching notes and assessment, marking and commenting on assignments and examination papers; 
• Providing consultation to students; and 
• Performing other duties related to the development and delivery of the course. 
  
  

The appointee will be required to carry out duties for the period between May and September 2020.

Requirements
Applicants are expected to possess the following qualifications, experience and attributes: 

• A recognized higher degree in Education, Sociology of Education, (or equivalent) plus teaching experience (Preference will be given to applicants with teaching experience in higher education); and
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Compensation Package
Successful candidate will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract.  Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
