Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointees shall mainly be responsible for the following:

• planning, development and delivery of the undergraduate programmes; and
• lecturing and tutoring, writing lecture notes, grading of assignments/examination scripts as well as conducting other teaching activities for the following course(s).

Requirements

Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Language Studies and Translation

• ENGL A101F  University English Writing Skills

Applicants are expected to possess the following qualifications, experience and attributes:

• at least a recognized degree in English, Linguistics or a related discipline; and
• Preference will be given to those with a relevant higher degree and teaching experience at tertiary level.

The appointees will be required to conduct classes on weekdays (daytime) from September 2020 to January 2021 and to carry out other course-related duties. For further details, please contact Mr Dennis Chau (Email:cychau@ouhk.edu.hk). 

Compensation Package

Successful candidates will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
