Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointees shall mainly be responsible for the following:
- planning, development and delivery of the undergraduate programmes; and
- lecturing and tutoring, writing lecture notes, grading of assignments/examination scripts as well as conducting other teaching activities for the following course(s).
Requirements
Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Language Studies and Translation
- ENGL A101F University English Writing Skills
Applicants are expected to possess the following qualifications, experience and attributes:
- at least a recognized degree in English, Linguistics or a related discipline; and
- Preference will be given to those with a relevant higher degree and teaching experience at tertiary level.

Bachelor of Arts with Honours in English and Comparative Literature
- ENGL A320F Special Topic(s) in British and American Short Stories
Applicants are expected to possess the following qualifications, experience and attributes:
- a recognized Master’s degree in English literature or a related discipline; and
- Preference will be given to those with a relevant doctoral degree and/or teaching experience at the tertiary level.

Compensation Package
Successful candidates will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
