ENGLE210F English for Effective Communication II: Listening and Speaking
Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee(s) shall mainly be responsible for the following:
The appointee(s) shall mainly be responsible for the following:
- Planning and teaching the full-time face-to-face English Language Proficiency Course for undergraduate students. (He/she will be required to teach up to eight hours per week on weekdays during daytime on campus);
- Completing related duties including preparing teaching notes, marking and commenting on assignments and examination papers; and
- Providing consultation to students.
The appointee(s) will be required to carry out duties for the period between January 2020 and June 2020.
Requirements
Applicants are expected to possess the following qualifications, experience and attributes:
- A higher degree in English (or equivalent) with teaching experience; and
- Fluency in both written and spoken English.
Compensation Package
Successful candidates will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with statutory provisions.
