The Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi) offers 22 innovative degree programmes that are vocationally oriented and developed with significant industry input. All the programmes are accredited by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications, and most are also accredited by the relevant professional bodies. In 2019/20, twelve programmes are in the Government’s Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions / Sectors (SSSDP), which provides subsidies to students varying from $41,700 to $72,800 per year. Major Duties:
The appointee shall engage in delivering lectures and conducting tutorials for the Faculty. All classes are conducted in English.

Requirements:
The successful candidate should have a Master’s degree and/or relevant professional qualification in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Urban Design, or related fields with good professional standing. Candidates should have 4 years of teaching experience at tertiary level and/or industry experience in relevant fields. Desirable specialisms include but are not limited to:
(i) Building Information Management (BIM)
(ii) Computer-aided Design (Adobe Suite, AutoCAD, Lumion, Revit, SketchUp, etc.)
(iii) Design Studio
(iv) Ecology / Habitat Design
(v) Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
(vi) Landscape Professional Practice
(vii) Landscape / Urban Design Theory and History
(viii) Planting Design
(ix) Sustainable / Resilient Landscape

Candidates are expected to have good interpersonal and social skills, and high proficiency in English and preferably in Chinese, including Putonghua.

Notes:
(1) The appointee may be required to perform duties at different sites and work irregular hours, shifts and on Saturdays and Sundays as necessary.
(2) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
