Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee shall mainly be responsible for the following:

• Providing individual supervision of undergraduate translation projects to the students of the Language Studies and Translation Programme for the period from January 2020 to June 2020. 

Requirements

Applicants are expected to possess the following qualifications, experience and attributes:

• A higher degree in translation or a relevant discipline
• Teaching/professional experience; and
• Relevant teaching experience at tertiary level would be an advantage

Compensation Package

Successful candidate will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract.  Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions. Payment will be made upon completion of the project supervision service in accordance with the number of students supervised.
