A. Overall Purpose Of The Job
This role reports to and works under the guidance of the Regional Commercial Director. As CSE (Business Planning & Support), he/she is broadly responsible for:
  • Providing a consistent administrative support function to the Sales (CS) and Marketing team in relation to client contract renewal, operational on-boarding of clients, client reporting and profile / activity information updates;
  • Supporting the China Sales & Marketing Strategy in business planning, progress tracking, regular reviews and follow-through with CS and Marketing team members;
  • Rolling out new consumer & CS packaged products (e.g. Raffles Medical Membership (RMM) packages, Little Dinosaur Club packages), and co-own the supplementary role of managing the hotline (mobile/desk) number and WeChat Official Account;
  • Monitoring and ensuring that all outstanding client account receivables are collected on-time;
  • Assisting the RCD in administrative matters for the CS department;

In essence, he/she is responsible for the following functions:
  • Business Support
  • Business Planning
  • Administrative Support

Territorial-wise, this role covers all existing locations where Raffles Medical (RM) is operating in China, including Shanghai (which will be integrated later).

In this role, he/she is required to be versatile, flexible and able to work independently with minimal supervision. He/she must be collaborative, but decisive with ability to offer independent input and exercise relevant judgement. He/she must be able to keep confidentiality and have an eye for detail, with the discipline of having closure of any outstanding service or support-related matters.

B. Job Profile
Required Skills and Knowledge
  • Excellent numeric, written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a multi-lingual, multi-cultural where consensus is the norm.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to successfully manage numerous projects simultaneously
  • Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM applications)
  • Strong individual that can work autonomously and within a team to deliver results

Required Work Experience
  • Over 3 years' Experience in an operationally / commercially focused analytical and/or Customer Services role.
  • Research experience valuable
  • Exposure to working in a cross-border engagement sales environment including previous working experience selling to emerging markets

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree or above

Required Languages
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently (oral and written) an absolute must
  • Ability to speak another language relevant to location and client base will be an advantage

Travel / Rotation Requirements (Brief description of any travel or rotation requirements)
  • Travel only when required
  • May be requested to participate in client-engagement functions to help in hosting the guests
