The Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi) offers 21 innovative degree programmes that are vocationally oriented and developed with significant industry input. All the programmes are accredited by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications, and most are also accredited by the relevant professional bodies. In 2020/21 academic year, ten programmes will be included in the HKSAR Government’s Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions / Sectors (SSSDP), which provides subsidies to students varying from $42,800 to $74,600 per year. Major Duties:
The appointee will be required to collect information on buildings and energy consumption, conduct literature review, carry out Smart Building Energy Flexibility Quantitative Assessment, and perform other research duties as assigned by the PI.

Requirements:
The successful candidate should have a Master’s degree, preferably a doctoral degree, in Building Services Engineering or relevant disciplines; or a recognised degree in a relevant discipline with relevant work experience.

He/she should have proficient communication skills in both written and spoken English, and skilled with TRNSYS and CFD software. Those with research experience would have an advantage.

Notes:
(1) The appointee may be required to perform duties at different sites and work irregular hours, shifts and on Saturdays and Sundays as necessary.
(2) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
(3) The appointee will work on Tsing Yi Campus.
