Job Description

Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee will assist in a research project related to online learning for interpreting training. (Project code: R6340). He/she shall mainly be responsible for the following:

  • preparing interpreting learning materials;
  • providing assistance in literature review; and
  • performing other duties as assigned by the principal investigator.

 

Requirements

Applicants are expected to possess the following qualifications, experience and attributes: 

  • a bachelor's degree in Interpreting and Translation or a related discipline;
  • preferably have experience in interpreting and research works;
  • good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua); and
  • detail-oriented, hardworking, responsible, and able to meet deadlines and work independently.

 

Compensation Package

Successful candidate will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
