Job Description
Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee shall mainly be responsible for the following:
- conducting behavioural experiments with children with or without autism spectrum disorder;
- contacting kindergartens and organizations to recruit participants;
- preparing data preparation analysis; and
- carring out other relevant work assigned by the Principal Investigator.
Requirements
Applicants are expected to possess the following qualifications, experience and attributes:
- a recognized Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in the area of linguistics, education, psychology or other related disciplines;
- excellent written and oral communication skills in Chinese and English, including Cantonese;
- ability to work independently as well as in a team; and
- preference will be given to those with a record of working with younger children with special education needs. Knowledge of autism spectrum disorder, such as qualification of administrating and coding Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule 2 (ADOS-2) would be distinct advantages.
Compensation Package
Successful candidate will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
