Job Description
Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee(s) will assist the Principal Investigator for Research Project "Developing pre-service teachers’ information searching skills through an information problem solving course". The appointee(s) shall mainly be responsible for the following:
- Conducting literature search;
- Collecting and compiling data;
- Assisting in data analysis;
- Assisting in report writing; and
- Performing any other duties as assigned by principal investigator.
Requirements
Applicants are expected to possess the following qualifications, experience and attributes:
- A bachelor’s degree or above preferably in Education, English languages studies, Computer Science or Social Sciences (for Research Assistant) OR a DSE / Diploma, or equivalent, preferably undergraduate students majoring in Early Childhood Education or English Language Education (for Research Support Assistant);
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese); and
- Preferably with experience in educational research.
Compensation Package
Successful candidates will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract. He/she will work between January 2020 and June 2020. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
