Job Description
I.Job Summary
We are seeking analytically minded and socially perceptive individuals to join our team as Social Observers. In this role, you will help us better understand public sentiment and social responses in the United States in the wake of major policy changes, societal events, and national discourse. You will be responsible for generating concise and actionable observation reports. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong interest in social dynamics and evidence-based policy analysis.

II.Responsibilities
1. Social Observation & Data Collection
• Monitor and document emerging social issues in the United States, including labor disputes, religious or ethnic tensions, and related community-level developments;
• Track societal shifts and behavioral trends in response to policy changes or crises using delegated surveys, remote observation, and online sentiment monitoring;
• Capture citizen attitudes, emotional responses, and real-life impacts, and synthesize findings into short analytical memos.
2.Report Writing & Policy Briefs
• Draft policy briefs and case studies under the guidance of the Society’s research framework based on observed findings;
• Identify and summarize relevant practices or experiences that may offer valuable lessons for the development of social security policy.

III.Ideal Candidate Profile
• Academic background (Bachelor’s degree or above) in Public Policy, Sociology, Political Science, Economics, or a related field (senior undergraduates or graduate students are welcome to apply);
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and present findings clearly;
• A thoughtful perspective on social issues and the ability to offer concrete, practical suggestions;
• A demonstrated interest in public affairs, with a strong sense of social responsibility and sensitivity to livelihood-related topics;
• Candidates with broad international networks or prior experience in government or public institutions will be given preference.
