The Consumer and Device Sales (CDS) team delivers amazing customer experiences and a thriving partner ecosystem powered by Microsoft Windows and Surface devices, Office and Xbox. At CDS you will be part of a global CDS team with a unique purpose to work with ecosystem partners to build, market and sell a winning portfolio that delights customers and earns fans around the world. As part of the Portfolio & Solutions team, you will be personally involved in thoughtful market assessment, product and solutions planning and partner engagement across the commercial segment for Microsoft and CDS.  This is a data-driven and fast paced environment where ideas can be taken from conception to scale in a short span where championing in seamless business relationships is key.

 

We are looking for a results-driven Partner/Channel Marketing Manager to drive the Collaboration business for Microsoft (Microsoft Team Rooms and other new solutions) in a scalable device + service motion through device and channel partners. The individual will be responsible for landing the expanding Group Collaboration device portfolio, powered by Microsoft 365 and Teams.  This is a great opportunity to work across all our Office PG and BG stakeholders, drive new business in partnership with the sales teams, and bring new ideas and revenue streams to life for the company.  This role will have substantial engagement at the senior levels and will be responsible for owning deliverables for leadership reviews specific to the M365 device portfolio. 

 

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of navigating complex business issues with senior executives, have excellent analytical skills, and have strong cross-group collaboration and communication skills. The individual possesses a balance of strategy, marketing and analytical acumen to work in partnership with product, engineering, business planning, finance and sales teams

We seek a determined, analytical, creative, and experienced business leader to join us in developing a robust growth plan.   More specifically, this individual will be responsible for:

  • Identifying new business opportunities with our current business model including complex channel routes to market and understanding how to influence in multi-tier ecosystem model
  • Leading the effort to create new business opportunities and/or models to drive growth
  • Working closely with our product and services teams to align on new business opportunities. Ability to understand the tech/work with partners on design in and engineering roadmap

The individual will also engage with partner account teams in the field to drive solution adoption and sales activation across the device ecosystem and sell through to customers, in addition to owning the revenue and scorecard metrics.   Additionally, collaboration with channel marketing teams is critical to ensure that the core content value proposition is effectively embedded into our go to market strategy and in partner/to customer messaging.   The role will also require a consistent working relationship with multiple business groups to ensure that our long-range plan is well documented and aligned with other teams ensuring the voice of the partner is heard in product planning. 

 

In this role you will

  • Own the overall Collaboration solution area plan for CDS identifying new opportunities for growth in partnership with Product / Business groups.  
  • Build the growth plan for CDS and influence Business Groups, Finance and OCP to drive alignment and support for execution / GTM plans.

Own field and partner value prop with asset delivery, and work with the GTM teams to build the right partner campaigns for customers that drives collaboration device + service sales 

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in a business- or technology-related field (MBA preferred)
  • 8+ years in a combination Business Planning, Product Marketing / Management or Commercial Strategy function.  
  • Confident communicator with an ability to influence executive stakeholders and senior leaders
  • 2+ years of experience in financial / data modeling
  • Ability to work across a diverse set of stakeholders across multiple complex businesses 
  • End-to-end planning to execution experience
  • Experience launching new product/new business is a plus
  • BA/BS Degree, MBA preferred
