To design and build the data centre partner program. Recruit and manage companies into the program. To build insight and relationships with partner and end user client organization(s) with a view to identifying their operational challenges and needs. To effectively utilize Eaton expertise and resources to generate high, value added, engineering and commercial proposals to and with the Partner companies. To secure orders which create a profitable, sustainable growth business. To manage & communicate effectively the business conducted between both organizations. Your main responsibilities: Territory: EMEA Establish, Own, Execute an agreed & sponsored Data Centre Partner Program. This program to blend and leverage from other Eaton Partner Programs. Establish, Own, Execute an agreed Business Partner Plan with each of the primary DC business partners. This plan shall cover all aspects of the technical Training, Accreditation, Legal (contracts), Sales and Marketing Objectives, Resources & Actions required by the program and agreed between the parties. Identify & build positive relations with all decision makers & influencers who impact the business potential with Eaton Bring to bare the necessary expertise and support required by the partner in terms data centre client engagement presales. Engage effectively with all Eaton Internal data centre resources and stakeholders required to grow business with the Partner company and data centre clients they address. Identify & engage in revenue opportunities identified by the Partner company. Understand & capture the end user clients & partner companies challenges & requirements in relation to Eaton portfolio/offerings. Use personal & internal resources to develop proposals that meet/exceed client requirements. Follow the client buying journey / process so as to enable Eaton & Partner to commercially respond & make proposals. Where required oversee the effective handover or engagement of post sales service & customer support teams. Be highly knowledgeable of the Partners business, commercial condition, structure, strategy, operations, and challenges. In order to articulate this in terms of opportunity, growth, risk with respect to Eaton business Be highly knowledgeable on Eaton's Products, Services, General business, structure, strategy, operations. In order to articulate this in terms of value to client’s business. Be an effective advocate and communicator of the benefits of supporting the Partner within Eaton organization Be an effective advocate and communicator of the benefits of supporting Eaton within Partner organization Collaborate effectively with other account and sales colleagues related to the account at national & global level Provide all internal stakeholder and functional departments the account specific guidance and insights required so that they can execute their role and add value to the client. Build a multi-lane bridge between Eaton and the client organisation. This may include R&D, PLM, BU Engineers, BDM, Marketing, PMO, Services, Sales Operations & Order Management, Supply Chain, Leadership & Executive Management. Gain leadership & executive team awareness, support & resources for DC business partner program & partners with the client. Facilitate exec engagement when requested/approved. Qualifications Your essential skills we are looking for: BSc/ MSc Electrical & Mechanical Engineering, Computing, Telecoms. Years and area of experience required: 5 or more years of sales and or technical role in the Data Centre, IT or Telecom Infrastructure Industry. Must have end user (direct) & partner (indirect) sales experience. Electrical or IT technical qualification/certification. Shall have worked directly on data centre or critical power infrastructure projects. Shall have significant sales engineering training / certification. Strong Communicator, Team orientated.
