The Parts Person is responsible for inspecting and verifying the documentation for all parts, supplies and materials delivered to the Vehicle Distribution Center (VDC).

This position requires lifting and carrying up to 50 lb., driving, pulling, kneeling, reaching, standing, twisting, walking, climbing, pushing, squatting, hearing, reading, writing, and exposure to variations in temperature and high noise.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Add parts to inventory.
• Order all parts via VOR
• Reconcile Parts Orders
• Distribute parts to workshop personnel and production area on demand.
• Process damaged parts claims and parts returns/discrepancies.(AFA)
• Process defective part for return to the WPRC.(Warranty)
• Provide documentation of supplies & materials purchased through approved vendors.
• Maintain and verify the accuracy of the inventory of parts, supplies, and materials. Ensure inventory is appropriate controlled relative to the facility
• Organize all records physically and electronically.  
• Provide feedback to supervisor or management on backorders, inaccurate inventory levels, and other essential matters.

Preferences

• Experience with VMS, KSD, AIR, DCS, ETK and Atlas
• Hi-lo / Fork lift driving – 2-3 years
