Job Description
- This role is within the Systems Supply Chain and Technology Enabling (SSC) Organization. The engineer will need a deep background in component engineering with a focus on Passive components.
- This engineer will be required to work closely with the Business Unit design teams and the supplier base to understand the Intel's component needs and integrate those needs with the best supplier solution in the broader component ecosystem.
- This job responsibilities will span the component life cycle from component initial design through HVM manufacturing. There will be a significant emphasis on component design for quality, manufacturing, and cost.This will include component characterization and qualification to support the component deployment in Intel products.
- The engineer will be required to demonstrate high levels of collaboration within SSC commercial and engineering teams as well as with the business unit and our preferred suppliers.An ideal candidate will be able to collaborate with suppliers to thoroughly understand the component ecosystem, supplier capabilities, and work to drive seamless integration of the solutions into Intel products.
Qualifications
- MS or 5 year experience Material Engineering or other relevant Engineering field.
- 5+ years of experience in Passive component engineering, design, manufacturing, packaging, assembly, and/or system design and architecture.
- 5+ years of experience of demonstrated influence and collaboration within organization, across organizations, and with suppliers.

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
