We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, energetic & patient-focused individual to join our team in the role of Patient Access Manager to develop and support the execution of national patient access services across our portfolio product PSPs within the General Medicine, Inflammation and Oncology franchises.  

Internal Candidates are required to have a discussion with their current manager regarding intent to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute access program services and initiatives to facilitate access to public/private reimbursement for patients prescribed Amgen medicines
• Critically assess specific short and long-term strategic access-related opportunities and provide input into functional business plans
• Manage ongoing relationships with vendors and support the management of access-related vendor contract services, budgeting/forecasting  
• Collaborate and consult with internal stakeholders, and external vendor partners to support patient access to portfolio commercial and bridging product
• Maintain steadfast focus on CQI to identify and implement optimized services, process improvements designed to advance patient access, and ensure positive patient and provider experience
• Generate reporting and analysis on the performance of access programs and initiatives to PSP and product teams
• Deliver internal and external vendor in-services and training as required related to access programs
• Maintain high level of portfolio product and disease-state knowledge
• Support the development of PSP materials for patients/HCPs

Basic Qualifications

BS or MS degree

Preferred Qualifications

• University degree in Science/Health/Business
• 3+ years of pharmaceutical/medical industry experience
• Knowledge and understanding of Canadian private/public reimbursement access environment and experience with Patient Support Programs
• Bilingualism (English/French) in oral and written
• Budget & vendor management experience
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and communication skills
• Highly detail oriented and the ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Proven ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally to achieve business results in a heavily matrixed, fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
