Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will be responsible for leading the strategy and development of patient support call center related services within the pharmacy product portfolio (e.g., Enbrel, Otezla, Amjevita, Aimovig, Repatha, Corlanor).

The Patient Access Manager of Care Center Operations is part of the Patient Access Capability team reporting to the Senior Manager of Customer Care Centers.

  • Manage patient care center (call center) vendor operations and training
  • Standardize, maintain, and evaluate new call center process enhancements & tactics to deliver an exceptional patient experience
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal & external partners to ensure adherence to Amgen legal, regulatory, safety, and privacy/compliance standards
  • Review program performance at regular intervals by monitoring metrics, including quality control and net promoter score
  • Lead Material Approval and Compliance process for care center related materials; oversee vendor SOPs, work instructions, job aids, etc.
  • Lead new Patient Support Program or for a PSP Redesign process, as appropriate
  • Develop budget development for functional responsibilities and programs

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree

OR

Master’s degree and 2 years of marketing, patient access, patient reimbursement experience

OR

Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of marketing, patient access, patient reimbursement experience

OR

Associate’s degree and 10 years of marketing, patient access, patient reimbursement experience

OR

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of marketing, patient access, patient reimbursement experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Self-starter, ability to work under limited supervision and coordinate multiple projects
  • Quick learner, proactive, takes initiative, goal oriented and results driven
  • Strong interpersonal skills and relationship management skills with key partners
  • Ability to influence others while fostering an environment of high performance and trust
  • Strong project management skills in a matrixed and, at times, ambiguous environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
