We have an opportunity for a Payers Relations Specialist in the External Affairs department.  

The Payers Relations Specialist will be an essential contributor to AstraZeneca to achieve current or future targets, providing continuous insight & info in the relevant fields of his/her responsibility and be a member of the key company staff pool that striving to shape the Pharma Business Environment towards the company’s benefit.

As a Payers Relations Specialist, you will have the chance to combine your knowledge and skills around key account management, science, economical and communication aspects, in one role.

The Payers Relations Specialist will be responsible for relevant key customers, stakeholders and key accounts in order to maximize access of patients to our products.

The Payers Relations Specialist will be responsible for the development, management and execution of the AstraZeneca Stakeholders strategy & plan through mutually beneficial relationships for AstraZeneca medicines across all Therapeutic Areas.

This position is a field-based role (80%) and reports to the Head of Pricing & Reimbursement.

The successful candidate profile should have:

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Health science, Economics Master’s degree will be considered an asset (preferably in healthcare management or health policy) Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a field-based role in healthcare sector, of which at least 3 years’ experience as Product Specialist and/or Key Account Manager in hospitals and/or specialty care era Fluency in Greek and English (both written and spoken) PC literacy Travelling availability
